WORLD URBAN PAVILION IN REGENT PARK – POWERED BY DANIELS
The World Urban Pavilion in Regent Park (Pavilion) – Powered by Daniels is a collaboration between the Urban Economy Forum Association and UN-Habitat with the support of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) and The Daniels Corporation. The Pavilion partnership was launched on November 12, 2020, by the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Canadian Minister of Families, Children and Social Development and the Minister Responsible for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC).
The Pavilion is a knowledge exchange hub to share best practices, innovation and research in urban development and the revitalization from countries around the world. The Pavilion envisions people centred, sustainable cities that are planned through data analysis, driven by innovation and informed by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
