Led by General Co-Rapporteurs Julio Carrillo and Madina Junussova, the 2023 Congress Team is inclusive of diverse perspectives from the Global South and North, and expertise spanning academia and practice. Continuing a unique tradition, international and local Congress Team Members join hands to ensure that the Congress explores both global and local planning issues related to the Congress Theme, "For Climate Action, Urban Finance - Climate-responsive Planning for Equitable Places & Communities"
The World Planning Congress Team is responsible for curating the Congress Tracks and shaping the Programme of the the 5th Urban Economy Forum + 59th ISOCARP World Planning Congress. Their task - bringing together innovative and diverse Speakers at the forefront of the Planning Profession and developing engaging Sessions, Workshops & Side Activities - is central to the success of the UEF5+WPC59.
